We are pleased to announce that The Stanford Undergraduate Research Journal (SURJ) is reopening submissions!

After several months of dedicated work, we are now ready to accept new research and guide authors through the publication process. As for our new journey ahead, we are eager to read groundbreaking research, foster intellectual exchange, and provide a place for undergraduate voices. At SURJ, we not only aspire to showcase the forefront of academic research but also pride ourselves in cultivating a diverse and inclusive academic community. 

However, while we would love to accept every submission it is important to note that our editorial team is committed to curating a well-rounded journal that represents breadth and depth. Therefore, the review process may take time, potentially spanning multiple academic quarters. We continue to ask for your patience and understanding as we read through every submission.

The commitment to academic excellence and innovation demonstrated by our contributors has been truly remarkable. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and ongoing support.
