Troy is a junior at Stanford University and Co-editor in cheif for SURJ. His current academic focus is on Neurobiology and Global Health. When he’s not editing, he likes to explore the outdoors, listen to new music, and play chess!
Anna Amine (she/her) ‘26
Anna is currently a senior at Stanford University and Co-editor in Chief for SURJ. Her current academic focuses are on biochemistry and more specifically protein cloning research. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading rom-coms, and learning new recipes!

Lead: Catherine Wu '28
Catherine is a current sophomore at Stanford University and is excited to serve as this year's Production Lead. She is majoring in Biology and Philosophy and is interested in health journalism. In addition to SURJ, Catherine is involved in The Stanford Daily and the Stanford Journal of Public Health.

Sia Liu (she/her) '29
Sia is a freshman at Stanford University majoring in Symbolic Systems and Economics. Currently, she serves as Editor-in-Chief of Stanford's Symbolic Systems student publication, Machina. In her free time, she likes to read, make random art projects, and throw frisbee.
Radhika Unnikrishnan '29
Radhika Unnikrishnan is currently a freshman at Stanford University and part of the SURJ editing and production team. She is a prospective Bioengineering major on the premed track and focuses on intersecting science, technology, and policy to create meaningful change. Academics aside, Radhika loves to dance and is on Stanford's classical Indian dance team Noopur!
Abigail Wu (she/her) '29
Abigail is currently a freshman at Stanford University and a member of the production team with SURJ. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of medicine, public health, and the social sciences. In her personal time, she enjoys the performing arts, exploring cities, and being out in nature.

Lead: Alice Finkelstein (she/her) '27
Alice is a current junior at Stanford University and is excited to serve as this year's Copyediting Lead. She is majoring in Bioengineering and is interested in cell and gene therapies and neuroengineering. Outside of academics, Alice is involved in multiple dance groups on campus and loves hiking, baking, and making jewelry.

Sophia Lande (she/her) '28
Sophia is currently a freshman at Stanford University, and an editor with SURJ in the Natural Sciences section. She hopes to pursue a career in conservation and ecology research. When she's not working, she enjoys playing clarinet and playing the daily crossword.
Hayden Kang (he/him) '29
Hayden is a freshman at Stanford University, and he looks forward to bringing the experience from his high school newspaper and research to SURJ. Academically, he is most interested in fields such as computational neuroscience and anesthesiology. During his free time, he enjoys playing the cello and spending time at the driving range.
Sophie Nguyen '28
Sophie is a freshman at Stanford University and an editor for Natural Sciences and Engineering with SURJ. Her current academic focus is on bioethics and human-computer interaction. When she’s not editing for SURJ, she enjoys hiking and watching movies.

Lead: Naomi Kao (she/her) ‘27
Naomi is currently a junior at Stanford University and a senior journal editor and primary contact with SURJ. Her academic focuses include medicine, computation, and music. When she's not working, she loves to watch Modern Family, play tennis & cello, and sing!
Mila Wagner-Sanchez '28
Mila is a freshman at Stanford University studying Human Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience. Her academic interests sit at the intersection of science and policy, and she has conducted research on early life adversity and its neurobiological and social impacts. Outside of class and her work with SURJ, Mila enjoys reading, hiking, and creative projects.
