  • Jordan David Shapiro, Intersect | Editor in Chief Dept. of Bioengineering, Stanford University, Undergraduate Dept. of Management Science and Engineering, Stanford University, Masters
    Jordan Shapiro is a senior at Stanford University majoring in Bioengineering with a minor in Modern Languages (Spanish and Mandarin Chinese). Jordan is also a coterminal master's degree student in the Department of Management Science & Engineering. In addition to his role as Editor in Chief for Intersect, Jordan serves at Chief of Staff for the Associated Students of Stanford University and was a Mayfield Fellow with the Stanford Technology Ventures Program. Jordan's work on campus include roles as a campus tour guide manager and an oral communication tutor. In his free time, he enjoys reading science fiction and practicing Taekwondo.
  • Amanda Danielle Zerbe, Intersect | Editor in Chief Earth Systems, B.S. and Honors Candidate, Stanford University International Relations, B.A. Candidate, Stanford University
    Amanda Zerbe is a Stanford senior double majoring in Earth Systems (with honors) and International Relations. Amanda's personal research focus is fisheries: she is currently writing an honors thesis on potential fisheries performance indicators in California. In addition to serving as co-Editor in Chief for Intersect, Amanda is also an Academic Theme Associate in the Crothers Global Citizenship dorm, a Stanford in Washington peer advisor, and a tutor at the Hume Writing Center as well as a leader of the Stanford Ocean Group. In her spare time, Amanda loves to read and make playlists.
