The Role of Technology in Education
Abstract
This paper examines how technology affects education, emphasizing how it might improve learning outcomes and the wider ramifications for both teachers and students. Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of technology is crucial for successful adoption as it becomes more and more incorporated into the classroom. This paper analyzes two important studies, one about e-learning in the United Arab Emirates and the other about the role of technology in higher education. It highlights the benefits, like increased accessibility and flexibility, as well as the drawbacks, like less in-person interaction and students' differing technical proficiency. The study also incorporates ideas from renowned literature, such as different approaches to integrating technology into instruction to enhance student engagement and customize learning. The ultimate goal of this research study is to offer a sophisticated understanding of how to use technology in educational settings in a way that minimizes any potential negative effects while guaranteeing that all students have fair access to excellent learning opportunities.
